Why is my Quiz score dropped?

In most courses, the practice of dropping your lowest score is common practice to help improve your overall grade point average (GPA). As you progress through the course and take quizzes, you will notice the term "dropped" next to your lowest score.

This means that this particular score will not be factored into your final grade calculation at the end of the course. By excluding your lowest score, you are given a chance to showcase your true abilities and ensure that minor slip-ups or challenges do not heavily impact your overall academic performance. This method ultimately benefits your GPA by allowing you to focus on your strengths and achievements rather than being held back by a single low score.
